Here's my secret crochet project. Do you see the dye lot change?

Baby Wearing Rocks!

Homemade Mei Tai
Made myself a mei tai kind of carrier using these instructions: furmother.blogspot.com/2006/12/pattern-for-no-sew-sweatpa... Read the instructions very carefully. If not, you could miss something important. You don't wanna mess up a baby carrier as it needs to be safe enough to carry your most precious cargo!

Little Miss isn't used to back carries, so I will need to do it a little bit at a time until she's fully comfortable with it.

***Please be sure to google instructions on wearing a mai tai. Watch lots of videos and read lots of instruction for proper techniques to ensure safety.***

Standing on her tippy toes to see the TV. I kinda feel bad that she has to do this, lol.

I'm working on a secret project right now... And this is all you get to see. I've put Mo's blanket aside for now to do this emergency project.

And here's the cthulhu I'm rewriting the pattern for... With Little Miss looking on, upset that I won't let her play with it.

Watching Tangled with the bebe and getting ready to "work", rewriting my cthulhu pattern. I accidently threw away 2 handwritten patterns at the coffeehouse a few weeks ago. =(

These are the Flower Wristbands (Ravelry name) I'm doing instead of the Band Cuffs (Ravelry name) seen in previous post.

Knit band cuffs for me. Was going to do 7, but figured out they weren't for me. So, I'm doing flower bands instead.

Row 5/10 of Morgana's blanket is almost done.

I want to start doing back wraps with Little Miss, but I'm too poor to buy a woven wrap. So, I cut a bed sheet lengthwise and I'm sewing it together on the short ends with yarn. I may also slightly roll and whipstitch the cut edges to keep them from fraying.

Had s'mores pizza from Papa Murphy's for dessert.

I bought Morgana a Rock N Stack (I think that's what it's called) today. Good thing hubby said yes to the toy, she was yelling at me to have it, lol. (8 months)

It makes me look like crap (glasses and no makeup doesn't help), but I love bandana days... So comfy and carefree.

The Cosby Show. I wanna figure out a way to make a hanging bulb light fixture like this one.

The smack mark under her eye from playing with her phone is now purple.

Hubby watched Mo for knit meeting today and I got almost a whole row done. But, she was really upset by the time I got home... So, don't know if we'll do the kidless knit meeting again. Bonus is that since she was so upset, she passed the eff out while nursing and took a 2 hour nap!

I put the play yard around the couch today. This way Morgana can be with me and explore a larger area.

My poor tuttie smacked herself under the eye with her (grown up, but non-working) cell phone. (8 months)

Here's the progress on Morgana's knit blanket so far.

All the squares are done for Morgana's blanket! Let the sewing commence!

Watching Seame Street in her crib after morning nap. (8 months)

Hubby got Beyond Glaze donuts for breakfast today! This is the Signature dozen. Look it up on their website to see what we got!

Me and hubby at Buca di Beppo last night.

Monday, September 19, 2011

Our meal was heavenly (see photos below) and we brought Italian creme cake home for dessert. Buca di Beppo, try it!

Squash ravioli and penne with chicken and artichokes. I HAVE to learn how to make those raviolis! The meal is served like a family meal; you order the dishes you want and everyone has some.

The stuffed mushrroms were divine!

Morgana thought the table looked quite yummy.

Little Miss and I all dressed up to go to Bucca di Beppo. Little Miss doesn't have any dress clothes for cool nights yet, so she's wearing a pink camo pants and jacket.

Plopping/plunking (google it) my hair in a bandana today as we're going to dinner at Bucca di Peppo (spelling?) tonight! I also think that Little Miss got me sick, so I'm trying to nap whenever she does, which is hard. She can't nurse with a stuffy nose and then gets mad about it.

Grocery shopping! Didn't yesterday cuz Mo was sick. She's playing with my creamer.

Some sweet Mo-didilee-umptious-ness for your viewing pleasure. (8 months)

Today's lunch is Kraft Mac N Ceese with spinach and italian style tomatoes. Mmmm.

Only 2 more squares of this color and I can start sewing Morgana's blanket together!

Newest toy: Stuff In A Bowl (8 months old)

I'm on the last color for Morgana's blanket, then it's on to sewing!

And I thought Big Bird was a boy. I guess he could be a cross dressing 6 year old.

Been trying my hand at dot art guided by a cross stitch chart.

Still managing to get some knitting done with a sick baby. Here, she just woke from a nap in the sling and is now watching Sesame Street on my laptop. =)

Made peach cobbler yesterday as a welcome home to hubby. He was gone on a 5 day business trip.

Staying home from knit meeting and grocery shopping today to get a sick Little Miss well.

Give It To Me Straight

How do all you readers feel about me posting mobile photos throughout the day with short captions? I hate to say it, but sitting down and taking an hour to blog just isn't in the cards for me right now. So, I want to know how you all feel about a picture book blog with updates throughout the day. Let me advise you that this would keep you with fresh, new content much more often. I will most likely post a new picture several times a day, as it is easier for me. Would you all still read? Would you still enjoy the photos even if the quality was a little less? Would you still enjoy hearing what's been going on even if I keep the description short and sweet? Oh, and occasionally there may be posts with just text.

Please leave a comment and give me your feedback!

Thanks for reading!

Zoo!

First Zoo Trip - 7 months
We took Morgana to the zoo for the first time yesterday. She was so excited...

First Zoo Trip - 7 months
...Excited about this being right in front of her behind the glass.

First Zoo Trip - 7 months
Here's Morgana and Kate sitting on a tiger sculpture. Morgana loved that baby tiger she was sitting on. I had to call her name to get her to look at me for the picture. Otherwise, she was patting the tiger on the head and smiling.

First Zoo Trip - 7 months
Morgana thought the carousel was so cool!

So we took a ride! She liked watching it better than being on it. The ride was quite uneventful for her.

First Zoo Trip - 7 months
Morgana watching the elephant, then it trumpeted and startled her, but she didn't cry.

Cooling off in front of the mister fan.

Hard Day
After such a busy day at the zoo, she fell asleep in the car while playing with the diaper bag handle.
