My little lamb, ready to help hand out candy.

Pumpkin seeds are done, dude. We didn't have very many.

Gonna roast pumpkin seeds.
Mommy tip: when clipping baby's nails while asleep, clean them up from the bed with tape wrapped around the hand.

Morgana's carved pumpkin. Wish I had remembered to buy candles for the pumpkins!

Pumpkin carving!

Morgana's lovey, Carmen, needed stitches before going in the washer this morning.

Tiny Toasties. Knit for Morgana.

Tiny Toasties

Here we are. Bo Peep and her sheep. Little Miss's costume was my secret crochet project!

Friday, October 28, 2011

Little Miss tried to find milk in Daddy's male co-worker's ol' lady costume. Oh and secret's out. Here's Mo's costume! I accidentally posted a pic of her wearing the hat a little while ago and just hoped no one put two and two together. I'm Bo Peep. Pics of us both coming soon!

Someone was getting fussy during clean up time, so threw her in a high back carry in the diy mei tai.

And Little Miss was so good to let me finish all the dipping without interruption. She watched Sesame Street on the laptop netflix and munched on puffs.

All done! And I fashioned a disposable serving tray from the bottom of a box covered in foil. I'm always forgetting my dishes at people's houses. This way there's no worries.

Making pumpkin choc chip cake truffles for a Day of the Dead sugar skull decorating and Hallwoeen party that we're all going to tomorrow.

Twice now, she's fallen back to sleep crawling towards me during nap.

Knitting tube socks for Little Miss.

Morgana's pumpkin. She helped color the squiggles around the face.
Sorry for the lack of posts. Busy, busy with Halloween coming! I'll try to post more!

Made my first shepherds pie for dinner tonight. It was pretty alright.

Birdies in the tree outside the window! She smiles so big and babbles her face off when she sees them. That dark speck above her head is a bird.

What is she looking at?

Slipper Socks for Kate
Kate's slipper socks are done! Just in time for cool weather.

Slipper Socks for Kate

Another peak at the secret crochet project. It's done now!

She has a tape measure tongue, hahahaha!

Here's more of the secret crochet project. I ripped it out and started over with a smaller hook and one strand of yarn. The first one was just too bulky.

So, I'm knitting and I look down to see that Little Miss's arm has escaped her shirt. First time she's ever done that. I shoulda seen it coming. She does, after all, pull and push her arms through sleeves while getting dressed and undressed now.

Knitting slippers for Kate, just need to bind this first one off, then it's on to the next.

Little Miss and I were playing with her toys and I explained that they are all friends and watching TV... even the green crochet coaster and that even though he doesn't have a face, he's a person too.

Boots Are Done, Dude.

If you want to play in my lap while I knit, it's really, really okay... because I love you so and always enjoy being close to you. In fact, I feel like something's wrong when we're apart. (9 months)

But in the meantime... Nana to the rescue with these cute mocasin booties!

One down.

Little Miss is helping me knit by holding my yarn ball...
